Supervision

As a Board-approved supervisor, I offer professional and reflective supervision for clinical registrars, early-career clinicians, and experienced practitioners. I can provide supervision across a range of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy and trauma-informed care. My primary approach though is based in my specialist skills in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).

My expertise using CFT was developed over seven years of training and supervision with Professor Paul Gilbert, Dr. Kate Lucre and Dr. Chris Irons. Its a model I value for its grounding in neuroscience, evolutionary psychology, and its capacity to support people with shame, self-criticism, and trauma. Whether you are new to CFT or looking to deepen your practice, I provide a supportive and structured space to explore theory, process, and practical application.

Supervision sessions can focus on:

  • Case conceptualisation and clinical formulation

  • Building confidence with CFT principles and techniques

  • Reflective practice and therapist self-care

  • Ethical issues and professional development

Sessions are available online or in person, and tailored to your developmental stage and goals. If you are interested in learning more about how I may be able to assist your therapeutic practice, please feel free to send me an email.

Let’s work together to grow your confidence, skills, and joy in practice.
